FIU-ARC presented at this year’s House Nuclear Cleanup Caucus showcasing U.S. Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management Technology Development Program

It was an honor to participate, present at this year’s House Nuclear Cleanup Caucus showcasing U.S. Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management Technology Development Program. The special event was hosted by the Energy Facilities Contractors Group (EFCOG), Energy Technology and Environmental Business Association (ETEBA) and the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI). The event counted with participation and remarks from Rep. Charles Fleischman (TN-03), Rep. Susie Lee (NV-03), and Rep. Bill Foster (ILL-11), as well as Jeff Avery (DOE EM Principal Assistant Deputy Secretary). It was a pleasure to be part of the panel along with my colleagues Ming Zhu (DOE EM), Connie Herman (SRNL), and Kevin Young (INL). My colleagues (Anthony Abrahao and Mackenson Telusma) and I also had the opportunity to showcase FIU’s robotic technologies being developed to support DOE EM nuclear decommissioning efforts across the US.
