FIU-ARC Technology Development Collaboration Meeting

Florida International University is hosting a Technology Showcase at Florida International University’s Applied Research Center. The purpose of the meeting is to review the current R&D efforts being conducted at FIU-ARC in support of U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management and the Office of Legacy Management. Participants include stakeholders from across the DOE Complex including Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS), Central Plateau Engineering, Savannah River National Laboratory, US Army Corps of Engineers, and U.S. Department of Energy EM.

“The meeting will take a deep dive into the current technology development in the area of robotics and remote systems and future deployment of these technologies at DOE facilities. This is a great opportunity for our researchers to interact with our counterparts at the DOE sites and better fine-tune our technologies for DOE field applications,” said Dr. Lagos (Principal Investigator of the DOE -FIU Cooperative Agreement)
