Dr. Triay has been selected by the board of directors and members of the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Miami-Dade County as the Women that Shine 2015 honoree!

This award was created to honor women in our community that have made great accomplishments in their profession. The LWV has been actively engaged in making democracy work since 1920. They are a non-partisan political organization that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The LWV strongly believes it is an important task to recognize women that have achieved professional success and can be looked at as examples by the younger generation. Dr. Triay’s exceptional work and career path made her the ideal candidate for such an honor.
