Happy Earth Day 2020!!!

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of this event!

This year’s theme is Climate Action.

As an academic and research organization which supports the clean-up and preservation of our environment FIU’s Applied Research Center annually participates in events such as the annual Miami-Dade County’s Baynanza beach clean-up, involving our staff, students and families.

With social distancing in place, however, many Earth Day activities have gone digital. Therefore FIU ARC would like to share with you the link to the official Earth Day website where you can participate in virtual events, such as environmental lectures and films, that will take place on Earth Day!
