Muhil Prabakar, Research Specialist I

Muhil Prabakar is a Research Specialist I for the Applied Research Center (ARC) at Florida International University. She received her B.S. degree from the University of Miami and her M.S degree in Bioinformatics from Boston University. She has worked in Data Science and Computational Biology in the healthcare sector. Her research and industrial experience span the broad areas of network analysis for the Human Microbiome Project, corporate business intelligence analytics for patient electronic health record (EHR) optimization, and software data analytics management for pharmaceutical clinical drug trial development.

She is currently leading the Artificial Intelligence track for teaching Machine Learning and Data Visualization to fellowship students from Broward College and serves as a project manager for an NSF Convergence Accelerator project.
